Institute of Certified Records Managers
The Institute of Certified Records Managers is an international certifying organization of and for professional records and information managers. Applicants must be approved to sit for the exams and complete 6 exams which includes a written component.

International Association of Privacy Professionals
The International Association of Privacy Professionals provides continuing education and training regarding information privacy and public access. Members have access to educational conferences and seminars. This organization administers the CIPP certification training and testing process.

CAL HIPPA
CAL HIPAA is the largest HIPAA educational resource for individual health care providers and group practices nationwide. CAL HIPAA includes over 4500 pages of HIPAA compliance resources. Browse around. Many resources are available for free. CAL HIPAA offers training and certificate testing for health care privacy managers.

Academy of Certified Archivists
Applicants for the examination have to meet three criteria, meeting defined educational, professional levels of experience, and pass the certification examination standards.
For records managers with an overlapping function as a corporate archivist or public or private archives, this examination is available.
